An Excerpt from our Newsheet

The empty tomb is the reality that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, and that life and love triumph over death and sin. Love, who is God himself, conquers sin and death, and sets us free to live this gift of life fully. The eggs may have gone. But Easter remains!

Friends. What does the Resurrection mean for you in 21st century Wiltshire? Are you feeling a little like Peter, eager and ready to jump into the water because you see Jesus? Or a little more like the women waiting at the empty tomb, still searching for Jesus? And where have you experienced the risen Jesus recently? Why not share your experiences with someone this week?

Shalom, Si

  1. I visited the church earlier today along with my cousins, one of whom was visiting from Canada. In these days when so much of what is happening in Anglican churches at large is depressingly dishonouring to our great God, it was wonderful to find an Anglican church so full of Bibles in the pews and several Scripture verses displayed around the church. As well as being able to use the piano to play Sheep may safely graze as well as a more secular Moonlight 1st movement!
